| Decent film isn't it?
On a serious note, I don't want to be negative about Saints, especially after 3 straight wins but now that Swifty is injured (Anyone know how bad it is?), I'm really concerned about our lack of speed throughout our team. I think it's been an issue for quite a fair while now but I don't see it getting brought up much. Is this why KC is so insistent on 'winning the arm wrestle' and grinding our way into their 20, because he knows we don't have the legs to go all the way up the pitch? McDonnell's not a slouch, Makinson's alright, Dawson's never gonna go full length. I wouldn't put money on Turner, Peyroux and Walsh either...have we got any whippets in the reserves we can bring through?

Wellington and Grace are both fast, but probably not ready yet.

Haha, nah that wrong as well mate, he would go 33 metres sidewards then 33 metres sidewards back to the same spot. He would offload the ball though when he eventually found a runner, all done within 100 seconds.

He was that slow they could time him with a calendar.
He was class though, was a favourite of mine when I was a kid.

| The great thing about Cooper was that everyone else would slow down to his speed when he had the ball. It didn't seem to matter how slowly he did something - he would still have time to do it.

And he had more of a rugby brain than the whole current saints team put together.
My last memory of Cooper was him doing a Walsh and refusing to take the ball in and giving a young lad called Sean Devine a hospital pass which effectively ended hos career

Legend!!!
I can see an Australian shirt in that pic which I'm assuming was from the 34-4 defeat to the tourists in 1990. Les Quirk went over for our try. I was 11 years old and couldn't see hardly anything because it was chocker.

| I certainly remember Cooper crashing his sponsored car (with his name emblazoned across the back spoiler) into a bollard outside The Bank pub in town where I was working at 11:30pm Friday evening and then staggering away leaving the doors open and the engine running.

Did he throw a little dummy before dropping the shoulders and making his getaway?

He was not in any kind of fit condition. Cooper drank like a fish.

| I have same concerns that Leeds have too many slow players- so Friday could be a battle of the plodders. Wigan were far quicker overall than Leeds on Friday.
