we must be the slowest team in the league..hardly any breaks made..not much off loading..one man barging up the middle all the time..why doesnt kc do away with the centres and wingers and replace them with even more forwards...whe you see the likes of leigh.(and nearly all the teams below us) running and off loading all over the park its a pleasure to watch..then we come on against catalan and do the usual walking stint up the middle!..catalan were there for the taking yesterday because they were rubbish as well..we all knew what would happen though if we are honest..rhinos would win pies would win..and we would LOSE...silverwood was his usual (bias) self as well disallowing that richards try..you can bet if catalan would have scored it he would have just pointed for the try!..sorry..dont think there's any hope for us in these playoffs keep playing boring one man rugby!

And some say we don't need any players that can make a break out of nothing. We've not got one single player that can make a break without relying on a pass to put them thru.

We've got Turner and Swift who make plenty of clean breaks , Turner and Swift are in the super league top 10 for breaks, there is only one club that is better and that is obviously Leeds. Its the fact that we try to play a forward game up the middle that this stat gets un-noticed.

Turner makes breaks near opposition try line mainly but I mean someone that can turn a game on its head out of nothing.

Percy played well today and got some decent ball out to Dawson. Had MAkinson or someone pacey been outside him, I think we'd have seen a lot more excitement.
Don't forget, it was also a pretty dismal day for weather.

At the moment I would say we are one of the dumbest teams in super league rather than the slowest. I would,t say Quinners, Makinson,Percival,Turner and Swift are slow off the mark, same goes for Mose, LMS, Vea, Roby and Greenwood in the forwards. Speed of thought and execution is definitely below par if that is what the OP is suggesting.

Never, ever write off saints. You're a top 3 side and it's the top 3 who'll compete for the GF. Do you really think you're incapable of beating wigan? That could well be all that's needed for a GF appearance. And win or lose a GF, I'd regard either outcome as a great credit to KC in his first year as coach.

I don't think our players are too slow generally, our halves are slow to get them in space though.

A back five of Quinlan, Swift, Makinson, Percy and Turner is fine for pace and we have some pace in the back row in Greenwood, LMS, Vea.

We can't blame lack of breaks on lack of pace when the backs don't touch the ball.
