First it was "You won the final because of Flower's red card". Tonight the word I'm hearing from Wigan is effectively "You only won because of us".

For those of you at the game I thought Stevo did him a real disservice on commentary saying he was only back there because he was having a rest. I know he's had his criticisms on here for effort but that was a great effort from him and no way a case of him just being in back play resting, he bloody worked hard to pull that off and get back.

Amen to that. I wasn't at the game, but it was as clear as day from the TV coverage that Mose had first cut down Sarginson's running angle and then chased back and mopped up his kick. An outstanding effort and a really key moment in the match. Stevo's comment was ridiculous.

Thought this thread was going to be about Dawsons performance. Huge respect for him to pull on our jersey but his the worst winger ive ever seen!

You are joking, aren't you? I thought he was solid tonight and did exactly what was needed. He's not Tommy, but I'm sure even he wouldn't claim that.

Weird thing to say when only Roby and Walmsley made more metres than him and the only back to make more tackle busts than him was Swift. He wasn't at fault for the Wigan try either, Burns was by making the wrong decision giving Wigan an overlap regardless of Dawson's actions.

He did nothing wrong tonight to warrant any negativity.

Some people just grind negatives regardless of performance.

Did a good job tonight.

Dawson played well but he did make a couple of bad errors. The knock on at the play the ball could have been costly and he was in no mans land for one of their trys which allowed for a walk in.

Dawson was solid, exactly what we needed in a backup - made a few errors as mentioned, but I'd say they were as much about him just being back from injury as it is him as a player.

1-17 doht deserve any negativity after the team performance, though I do feel for Fleming not being able to get on ...

We can laugh at Bowen, but apart from the 2 mistakes, he dealt with an awful lot last night. We just threw too much at them.

Who cares? It was just fun to laugh at him! He plays for Wigan. It's fun to laugh at anyone who plays for Wigan.

Dawson did ok. He hasn't played super league for about 2 month don't forget. He might have been caught out postion wise but that's only because our edge defence got sucked in which leaves a winger in no mans land.

I think he did well and was better choice than putting a young kid out there which would invite Wigan to attack him and kick to him.

I think Dawson is a decent squad player and has come on really well from when he first came.

The Wigan fans contributed to the comedy value when they mockingly cheered a kick they thought was going out on the full, it only bounced five yards in play lol

For me Dawson is a better centre than a winger, he's had a couple of games at centre and like that bloke Meli his errors become less in that position. Dawson will not do anything spectacular and is not quick enough after 40 metres but he is a good back up and he will always put in 100% effort.

Charnley for the pies on the other hand has gone backwards and doesn,t seem to have a lot of confidence………...…long may it continue. His short "kick" down the touchline was indeed comedy gold.

My point was more for the Wigan fans, or anyone wanting to say they handed us victory rather than giving saints the credit.

Because according to the arrogant lot over the lump nobody has ever actually beaten them fair and square. Always piles of excuses, Rogues is a great example of their bitter twisted self absorbed deluded mindset
