I have been reading this on the Leeds board. A lot seem to favour us to win the Challenge cup this year. I think I'd be happy with a win at Wembley this year.

We should be keeping our fingers crossed.
If things go our way - Lomax and Walsh stay injury free, Burns clicks and the youngsters like Thompson, Greenwood, Sav and Percival kick on, then (barring a real upturn from our rivals) we could smash the whole season.
Its not a given, but there's something special brewing at Saints.

Winning the cup is the luck of the draw. Leeds would have seriously struggled against wire, wigan or us in the final.

My point - since you needed to ask, is that it was inconclusive.
From one angle it looked over, from another angle it looked right on the post and from another it looked wide. The ref thought it was wide, the video ref didn't get the chance to rule on it, which would have been sensible.
So the outcome is - you were lucky, it could easily have been given. That's all, no big deal.
Sometimes we think we never get any luck and sometimes it takes a totally unbiased poster to point out that in fact, we did!!!  |

Did you miss all the video analysis. It missed. We had the crayola out and sky had their never ending posts, someone had lazers. It definately proved that neither Saints or Huddersfield made the final. |
