With the 24 man squad announcement for the Four Nations coming up, I thought we'd see what team we put together as a board. I'll be putting on different positions every so often with a shortlist to pick from. The squad will have 2 Full Backs, 3 Wingers, 3 Centres, 3 Halves, 2 Hookers, 6 props and 5 back rowers. If any players you'd like to pick aren't on the shortlist than please say.

For today we will do Full Backs, you have two votes on the poll and please indicate your order of playing preference in a post. In the case of positions on the bench starting spots will be allocated on preference.

Really. I think Lomax could have stated a decent case if he'd have stayed fit, but we'll leave that to next year.

Yeah I shouldn't really have put Lomax in but I'd already typed his name...

Matty Russell I decided was still Scottish, but Scott Grix could still be Irish, who knows.

Either way I can't see it making a difference to the outcome if either are included/not included.

I'd take those in that order. Totally unconvinced by Lomax. Bar a couple of flashy runs (Like the dummy at Warrington) he's not that impressive. I reckon he's going to struggle to keep his spot at Saints never mind play for England.

Ratchford is one of my fave players from another club. I think he's excellent. I can't believe they bothered bringing russell in who is not great in that position.

He is a decent player who is good at kick returns and a quick ptb, but I think you need more to your game at FB. He rarely passes the ball and I think they've missed the link that Hodgson gave them.

In terms of the thread, definitely Tomkins. If ratchford had played the full season at FB then he would be in front of Hardaker. But he hasn't so it's hard to pick him off one game.

I'd take Tomkins but as a halfback. So on that basis just Hardaker from the list.

Ratchford should have been in the squad last year. Jack of all trades and pretty damn good in them all too, he's a class player.

The poll is designed so players can only be selected in the positions they would likely play. I also would play Tomkins at 6, but that isn't going to happen hence why he's an option at FB. Ratchford will be available to choose at 6.

Please make all votes in this thread with regard to who you would play at Full Back, regardless off if you would play them elsewhere given the choice.
