| With the announcement of the 2014 dream team tomorrow, who would you have in your dream team?
Before anyone starts, this is NOT who you think is the best in the league in their position, just who's had good form this year.
1. Matty Bowen
2. Tommy Makinson
3. Kallum Watkins
4. Michael Shenton
5. Joel Monaghan
6. Kevin Brown
7. Luke Walsh
8. Chris Hill
9. Daryl Clark
10. Jamie Peacock
11. Elliot Whitehead
12. Brett Delaney
13. Joe Westerman

I don't think Walsh has played enough games tbh.

Perhaps my Saints bias showing through a tad but I found it harm to leave him out due to how good he has been when he has played.

| I'd swap Bowen, Watkins and Walsh for Escare, Wardle and Sneyd, but I agree with the rest.

Way way too many players from a team who ultimately finished 6th. What its implying is that the leeds team was as dominant as the Saints team of 2006 - which is ludicrous.
Hardaker shouldnt be in there owing to his misdemenour(s), Watkins "has had 4 good games all season" (quote from the Leeds board), and Hall should of been behind Makinson and Monaghan at least. Peacock and Ablett would of been a fair, reasonable and agreeable outcome, but 5 is just silly.
Also disagree with Clark over Roby, but I could of seen that coming a mile off.

Sad state of affairs when only one from Saints gets in on merit with us finishing top?
Peacock for MOS for me also

SOL is in it and played a grand total of 1 game more than Walsh this year...

Not going to argue with O'Loughlins ability and what he does for Wigan but he's missed so many games this year with injury and being 'rested' how can he make the team??

No. It's picked by the journalists, which are mostly Yarkshire born anyway so that would explain why Leeds got way too many players in there.
The OPTA team of the year was on the Fulltime show tonight. Robes is in there as 9 but he's our only representative. Robes was never going to get in the dream team this season because Clarke was the blue eyed boy!
How Escare was left out I do not know. And since when is Hall better than the leading try scorer? Hilarious!

| I think Walsh should have been in. True he's been injured, but he's been quality and far better than what's been chosen. Afraid there's far too many Leeds players for my liking (Cas)
Well done on the Lls ( best team won)

[url=http://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/0/rugby-league/29175604A couple of the BBC journos voted for Walsh[/url
O'Loughlin only missed one game less than Walsh and he's in the dream team so clearly injury absences weren't an issue.

He's just being Yarkshire. That's why so many Leeds players were in the final version: most of the journos are Yarkshires.

But we constantly claim that Wigan (basically the top team at the moment) have a relatively modest squad line-up compared to their on field achievements and that their strength lies in more team based qualities? Maybe Leeds are the opposite. Not many would argue with their playing ability on paper - especially the back line.
