| I went first time my missus has seen saints win (and it's been 3 years!)
Kind of hard to say how it went, on the one hand scoring 3(?) tries in the last 10 made the scoreline look a little flattering, but we were always in total control, and just did what needed to be done.
One negative is that Percival and Swift need to sort their defence out, there were quite a few gaps left today that better teams would of punished, and of course lance limping off (looks a bad one imo)
But on the whole it was a good team performance, the props led from the front and Amor Walmsley Masoe and lms were relentless all day, and were the highlight for me

| I went. I thoroughly enjoyed the experience. I like The Hive. Friendly little place. They even agreed to The George pub playing Aliens at Christmas (or whatever that song is officially called) at halftime, which not every stadium would agree to do! (The George lot went dressed up in Christmas gear for some reason; didn't catch why) It was incredibly hot. The weather was terrible all the way down but the sun came out once we got to London and it was seriously hot. How both teams played in those conditions I don't know.
We dropped the ball again on the first tackle. We went off the boil in the second half again to the point where some of us were getting just a little concerned. But Brown sent Roby back on and we got ourselves together again, even though we lost Lance, which was concerning as he was very good today. In fact, IMO, he was our best player. LMS and Walmsley were good too.
Our edges again looked fragile and Wello wasn't our last line of defence.
However. It was bloody hot out there and so I've decided not to be too harsh on us even though we looked worse than last week.
London had no interchanges left for the final 15 minutes as they lost a couple of players to injury in the second half so they ran out of steam. I think to be honest the scoreline flattered us slightly.
Still. We won and that's what counts. Great atmosphere, lots of fun were bonuses! I really enjoyed the day and the trip back was a dream.

| Pleased to see some honesty about the match, that is what RL should be about,
I feel for our youngster this season it's been hard for them, baptism of fire, the sooner the season finishes the better. Some good recruitment going on, and we are staying full time in The Championship, plus keep the youngsters that have it.
SaintsFan, they also the dropped ball from the goal line drop out? Glad you enjoyed the day.

| I'll miss the London trip. We have a good weekend down there. Didn't stay this time due to having to be at rugby Sunday morning.

| It was a comfortable win, but I'd like to give London a bit of credit as well. They don't have the greatest squad in the world and individual wise they may lack a bit of quality, but they don't throw the towel in. Doesn't matter what the score is, they keep coming and they give everything they've got.
Great trip this weekend. Great atmosphere and the Mark Flanagan song got a decent airing. We had a drink with a few of their fans after the game and they are really passionate and knowledgable about the game. They have a lot of young players but as I say, they don't give in.
We didn't play our best rugby in patches but our big guys were dominant yesterday as you say. Walmsley and Masoe both had good games and I thought Soliola put in a strong performance as well. Kyle Amor worked hard and has another game under his belt now. LMS has put in a couple of consistent performances now up the middle and hopefully that will continue. It's good to see these guys just tucking the ball under their arm and taking us forward. Soliola's try was pure class.
The biggest disappointment was losing Hohaia who was having another good game as well on the back of those I just mentioned. Had a hand in a couple of tries and looked composed. I've read a couple of posts criticising Mark Percival recently and I couldn't disagree more with that. He isn't the finished article and you can't expect him to be. He's a natural centre who will continue to grow and develop the longer he plays at this level on a consistent basis. Both Percival and Swift are prone to defensive errors but a lot of that is down to their decision making. That will improve. He's managed to string a few games together now and is such a threat with the ball. Dawson came in yesterday and didn't let anyone down once again. Whenever Luke Walsh is out, Wilko steps in and I thought his kicking game kept us ticking over despite those errors that have been mentioned.
As I say, great weekend. We weren't perfect but there were some really positive contributions which was pleasing.

| I went the Hive this year to watch the Wire & really enjoyed the experience, a very friendly stadium with good facilities. I'll miss my annual weekend trip to London & wish the Broncos well for next year.

There was a Wire fan at the match yesterday, sitting with the Broncos fans. Needless to say Saints fans noticed him and gave him the appropriate abuse!

I've no doubt you were singing that out of date, out of tune & so last decade diatribe of 'It's always your year'. It's time for you Guys to move on, after all nowadays we rarely mention your shell suits.

| Yet despite Saints never having a record of singing you'll never walk alone. We still get people singing the alternate version.
So we maybe out of date at times, yet at least we know which sport we are watching.
