At last weeks same panel hearings, also charged with Grade "B" 1-2 match sanction were Michael Lawrence, Chev Walker & Scott Grix.
None of these had the EGP option and Walker and Lawrence got a 1 match ban same as Armor who used his EGP.
Grix just got a fine !

I've read the offence descriptions and - apart from Grix's which sounded like a 1 match ban - they are no worse or better than Armor's.

It looks like if you go to the hearing and plead very sorry etc, it looks like it gives you a better chance.

I think if we didn't have an important cup game next week we'd have chanced it with the disciplinary hearing but with Wilkin possibly missing for that game too, Saints just didn't want to take the chance and instead have taken the hit for Friday's game to ensure he's back for Huddersfield.

When do we hear about Wilkin?

He's up before the beak at 5.30, so sometime after that

Bad one from Amor and deserves much bigger ban than one match. It's pretty clear why we used the EGP

Still shows the RFL's panel up to be the farce it is. How on earth was it graded the way it was? It was pretty horrendous, more a punch than a traditional high shot.

Should have been graded at about 3-4 matches, we're incredibly lucky to have him banned for just 1.

Having said all that, check out the speed on Makinson. Everyone was in full flight and then he just hit the turbos. Pheeeeeeeew

Amor lucky to get away with one match really. Wouldn't have complained if he'd been sent off for that.

I'd have complained at the time. But you got to give the ref a hard time. It's part of being a fan on the day, to help your team out and try and wobble the ref your way.
