What date does the season actually start do you know?

Depending on what SKY decide to do it will be Thursday 13th or Friday 14th Feb.

I was told from a very good source that Wire had put a complaint in about their first two and last two fixtures and being away again for the last game.

What difference does it make when your first/last home games are? you still get 13 home games

My little saying is " you play everyone home and day away".

Who cares when and who you play, it's all the same come the end of the season.

I Believe we play the wolves on a Thursday night. Also told we play Salford on a Thursday.

Also told we play Catalan in June and it will be on the road apparently

I think sky have scrapped the Saturday games for Thursday & Friday games.

Urgh, both Wire games are Thursday games.

I wonder what the impact on the hospitality is for that?

Rd 16: Saturday June 14 - Catalans Dragons V St Helens (6pm)

I was told the other day that our game against Catalan will be on the road. He was spot on with the other fixtures he told me so I'd expect it could be true.

I heard the same story but from the Saints website:

No. Probably just after I've booked it as well.

I really hate the way Sky rule when the fixtures are (for rugby and football). We need Saturday games more - school nights are difficult if you have littleuns who want to go

Just booked our Catalans away trip

Flying: Thursday 12th from Birmingham to Perpignan: £26 o/w
Home: Sunday 15th from Barcelona to Liverpool: £32 o/w

Hotel: £40 a night (£20pp) so all in, £108 for flights and hotel and 3 nights in France!

Good deal that mate.

What about transfers when you get there ?

I haven't really thought about it too much really. I've done enough research to know that we're only a Mile and half walk to the ground, so it's nor very far away at all. As we're flying into Perpignan, i assume there will be taxi's, or buses to take us into the Town itself.

As for getting to Barcelona, it's 1h 22m on the train, so we're just gonna go early doors on Sunday, get there early and have a few beers, before jumping the metro back to the airport!

All in, it's excellent value, couldn't believe it's not more.

I think you should undertake more research,it will not be the easy ride you outline.True 1.5 miles from the ground and taxi's are available from Perpignan Airport but the journey to Barca can be a problem.

If you are coming across to France for the match against the Dragons why not spend a few days in St Cyprien, which is just down the coast from Canet and only 25 minutes from the stadium.

St Cyprien is the official seaside resort of the Dragons and has a long history of rugby league. Your players are probably staying at the Golf Club in St Cyprien as this is where visiting teams normally stay.

If you PM me I can give you information on properties available to rent and details of transport to and from the stadium. The properties are especially suitable for couples or families.
