I will be doing the usual:

9:00am - Head into town for a few early pints - maybe a bit if breakfast if I feel up for it.
10:30am - Train to Wigan.
11:00am - Pick a standing spot right at the back of the North Stand.
11:01am - Get a few early songs going.
12:15 - Game on!!!
2:00pm - Finish up at the DW - few final songs.
3:00pm - Post game sing song.
12:00am+ - Kebab, and more drink.

What do you all get upto on Good Friday?

Wake up 6:30am
Make kids breakfast for kids and keep em entertained till 10:30am
Wife taking the kids out for an Easter egg hunt, whilst I settle down for the match 11:00am
12:15 watch match
12:30 kids back to interupt the game.
throw several things at the TV and then hopefully a win.


Not as exciting as your day but still fun all the same.

Going to be unusual to have such an early kick off!

Usually I'd watch the Hull game first, but unsure of what time to set off this year!

Log onto RLFANS to blame it all on Paul Wellens' lack of speed and Jordan Turner's defending. 2pm
Start a thread bemoaning the lack of ambition at the club and the lack of quality in the side 2.30pm

10:30 Head off up the M1 to Hartlepool
12:15 Listen to game on car radio
14:00 Get momentarily elated/depressed at the result until the cold hard realisation that it doesn't ultimately actually count for anything or even give us any real pointers to our trophy chances sets in yet again.
14:15 Park up in some godforsaken backstreet in Hartlepool. Enter stadium knowing we need to win all 8 of our remaining games to stand any realistic chance of making the playoffs despite only 4 wins in our last 18 games now.
17:00 Leave stadium after 2 hours of freezing to death and being pecked to shreds by seagulls.
20:30 Get back home, log onto RLFans and **** myself laughing over the latest SaintsFan rants over why Meli is to blame for everything bad that has ever happened and why we should be playing 17 13 year old kids from Blackbrook instead every game, and over everyone who can't fight their better judgement by wading in and responding.

Same as the other 364 days of the year then.

9am Lloyds bar southport with 4 others for pre match breakfast!
9:55 train to Wigan
10:30 Moon under Water wigan
11:45 walk to ground.
12:15 off we go!!!!!!!

9:00 - Local Deli for breakfast
10:00 - Coach to Wigan
11:00 - Red Robin in Wigan for a couple
11:30 - Head to the stadium
12:15 - Lose my voice
14:00 - Celebratory drinks after a comfortable and convincing win
17:00 - Forget everything else that happens after this point

If you're going Monkey hanging on Friday make sure you wrap up extra well. That wind coming off the North Sea is bloody cold at the best of times, but at the moment it's unbelievable. By far the coldest ground in the football league.

looking at our 19 my friday will be

Get up
Have breakfast
Go to game and be bored and depressed watching us get annihilated
Get very drunk.

Keep a look out for mini rogue, he should be in the Moon from around 9:30. I'm heading for the South Stand bar around 10.

Do they do a pensioner discount breakfast or something?

Thanks for the advice but it's not my first time up there so I will be going plenty prepared - record numbers of thermal layers will be being applied

My main worry is actually the seagulls - they seem to have more of them than fans up there and they're a bit savage...

10am- Wake Up
12pm - Get into work
12:01- Turn off all mean of communication
21:01- In the car back home with a Genos and a beer to revel or weep.
