Those stats show the impact Wakey's absence of props had upon the game really. They were missing three of their first choice props and then lost a replacement during the match. Had they had all their crew on board, we might have been looking at a very close call.

Massive average yards per carry from several of our forwards show it was a much different game from last week.

7 busts from Meli and 12 from Lomax show that all of a sudden we've got threat out wide again.

Manu's defensive contribution continues to suprise me.

Good 'go forward' stats from Walmsley - obviously against a weak pack . Will be interesting to see how he does against better opposition as he gets fitter.

Also a mention for Clough - impressive stats in both attack and defense.

Wowsers, just wowsers.

I was going to slag Wilkin off, until I saw the assists column, then I felt rather silly.

But Laffranchi? Is he perhaps a better target for my attention than Turner? Turner was woeful with 3 missed tackles from 7, 2 of which resulted in tries and little contribution in attack (Bar putting his hand on a loose ball and taking an exceptional pass from the Pope). Laffranchi on the other hand was superb defensively 30+ tackles and non missed, but his attack is feable. He has the aggression and impact of a petal floating softly in the breeze.

He was impressive, wasn't he? A direct running proper prop every day of the week. I hope he develops very quickly!

Walker also worth a mention, when you have someone who can do so much tackling it free's up the likes of Warmsley to concentrate soley on attack. I think Walker only did 40 mins before he got injured.

Otherwise he would have topped the tackle count 2 weeks running.

Our left side's looking pretty formidable with Manu, Turner and Meli. Great stats by Walmsley too, he looks a real prospect.

I think we need to be cautious about the stats for this game. I heard on Superleague Full Time tonight that Wakey missed 43 tackles. Our go forward is bound to look good in the light of that level of defence!

Yep, massively weakened Wakey team - pack absolutely decimated and missing their organiser Smith.

Any pack stats should be taken with a cellar of salt.
