He's utterly terrible on what we've seen of him so far. He has nothing going forward, constantly going through his routine of running to the line, bottling the collision and doing that horrendous goose step thing he does before falling over. Shenton is a much better player.

Shenton was just unlucky. We descended from Lyon to Gidley to Shenton. Shenton is a decent player.

Turner was only signed because of the way he went round Shenton last year v Hull.

I'd like someone from the club to explain why we signed if. The try he scored at Langtree Park in Hull's win there last season could well have been the reason we signed him. He did very little else for Hull last year.

In all honesty, Most hull fans including myself couldn't wait till he left for you. The only thing Turner has going for him is pace. He's bad in defense and oftenly runs out the line leaving the winger exposed.

He may have one good game in 10 but that's only when leading easily. I just can't see what you saw in him to sign him.

We did it plenty when he was with us, too.

My suspicion is that it was/is hoped that Brown could/can mould him in a similar way to Cudjoe.

I think you'll find most Hull fans were glad to see the back of him , He can score a couple of great tries a season but defensively , He's lost.

Given all our problems so far, none are down to his defence. He's been very strong in that department since he's come in.

He was awful against Hudds and left marking thin air for Hall's 2nd.

I've not seen all your games, but he was completely lost a few times tonight and against Hudds IMO. When Moon waltzed through he had no idea what was going on and never even got close to him. As Moon changed direction he looked like he was about to stop moving and just stand there, confused. I know Moon is a good player and capable of doing that to better centres on occasion, but it was a familiar theme in Turner's Hull days. His positional play and decision making are terrible, and it was a regular sight to see him waving at his winger as the opposing centre strolled past.

It's a shame we didn't wait a bit longer and snapped up Moon actually, but hindsight is great. I still don't get the fuss with Turner though, I'm afraid.
