Im not sure who is responsible for the website but what a great way to research the history of your club which I have never felt the need to do until my grandad passed away a few weeks ago.

My grandad William Dowd (Billy) was a rugby league fanatic and during our many conversations about the game he let slip that he played a number of games for St.Helens during the 1940s so I thought I would see if it was true!

Do you have one with head and shoulders? In kit would be a big bonus, but we know this is not always possible.

I think that someone in the family may have a photo of my grandad in his playing days, I remember he had a black & white team photo on display but I don't think this was when he was playing for St.Helens although I could be mistaken.

I will ask my dad If he knows who has this and if possible will forward it on to you.

Hi guys. Agree the website is a great resource - I've spent many an hour poring over Warrington stats, so know the amount of work that goes into these kind of things.
