I see the post mortem is still carrying on with people surprised we didn't manage to win a trophy again this season. If you'd listen, I told you all this would happen this time last season.



Anyway, as I'm such a positive and caring soul, I thought I'd try to drag morale out of the gutter and start a positive thread about a happy subject. So I chose the new kits for next season. I see a couple of sides have let their manufacturers leak images of their kits already, Wakefield's looks really nice.

I'd really like the club to do something different this year. Generic white shirt with red vee has been done to death. Whilst the club is having time off from being successful, why not change the kit design, go retro with a red band across the middle? That way we get something that isn't exactly the same as previous kits AND it means that when we've sorted the fullback and halves and have a chance again, we can bring back the v like we did with the tracksuits at OT once.

Away kit, again something less generic. Go all out cool with greys and lime/illuminous greens or do something interesting like the Stade Francais shirts, but less gay.

I like the idea of putting 2012 firmly behind us, pretending it all never happened and focusing entirely on 2013 from now on instead.

Home: Another subtle variation on plain white with a red vee please. Anything else would be sacrilege. Maybe you'd prefer some hacked "trendy" abomination like Wigan's from a couple of seasons ago or any of our '90s horrors, or for us to completely change the style and colours of our kits every season denying any heritage we might have a la Warrington, but plain white with plain red vee is always where it's at with me. A red hoop instead would have been a good idea and appropriate for the last season at KR or the first at LP, but both of those boats have sailed now and there'd be no point doing it for some random season.

Away: Don't care. I never buy away shirts and so long as it's not blue and yellow or red and white hoops I'll be happy enough. I think having a retro kit (e.g. black/red/yellow hoops or the sy blue and brown number from a couple of seasons ago) as the away kit would be a good move and might tempt me to buy one for once. Chances are we'll just get another generic non-descript black/navy blue thing that I'll ignore completely however.

I think the Meninga kits would be fantastic, does anyone have a picture of the shirts we had when he was here? Home shirt red band with red sleeves, away the same but two tone blue. Proper retro, sell the fan shirts in cotton rather than plastic.

I like the idea of the single red hoop, and I fancy the sky blue/chocolate retro kit for the away strip.

Failing that can we have the 97 shirt back please? The one with the black and red check...

To save o money for new players, we ain't wearing a kit next year. We going out naked.

We've got a new stadium to pay for as well.

With the amount of women that would turn up if the team played naked the debts would be off within a season.

Naked, yes. I've already seen him half naked and that was a delicious revelation!

From what I hear, I think Ade Gardner would be the box office player the women would pay to see.

If you was stood in the west stand and Ade was on the try line at the east end of the stadium then he'd look like he's hit three legs
