I'm coming over for the game. Whats the best place to park these days? The last time I drove we used to park on the bowling place next door, but this was when Wakefield had about 1,500 supporters.

I'm a bit concerned about it to be honest, you've looked in awesome form recently and I think you could do a job on us if we're not careful.

If you get there early enough (pre 2.30) you should be ok with on street parking around the ground.
It should be a cracking game, we are rather confident, if slightly wary of St Helens.

Sloanes is a great place to eat for English/Italian or theres Quabana in the city centre thats very popular.
Nightlife on a Sun? Not bad, bit quiet but ok.

Ill give Sloanes a go lol! Not after anything too heavy for a nightout just a few bars aslong as there busy. Thanks pal youve been a great help!

Just one more thing! As everyone will be drinking apart from the kids and the mother in law will it be easier to get a taxi to the ground or is it within walking distance from Sloanes?

I'm not going the game, but we always struggle at Wakefield, it's not a place we enjoy going to.

I suppose it depends on our injuries after the Warrington game, but I imagine it's a game we'll have targeted to win to remain in 3rd.

I think it will be the same side as Warrington unfortunatley Blob.

Spoke to sia after the game on Monday, he said he was 50/50 for the wildcats game. Not heard anything different this week.

Its prob about a 20 minute walk. Just walk through the city centre and follow the Wakey fans.
Depending on the time you finish eating it may be quicker to walk than get a taxi as
our attendances are well up this season.

Boof and Wilkin had huge ice packs on their knees on Monday too.

We should go back to the situation that we're just too heavy for the opposition pack, combined with our good completion rate, it'll hopefully be too much of an up hill struggle for Wakey.
If Boof's out, bring Forster in. Find a place for Gaskell. I reckon (without wanting to be over confident), this is a good one to ease him back towards SL sharpness.
If we don't take chances liek this to keep him up to speed, then if we were to get an injury to either Hohaia or Lomax close to the playoffs we'll be in schtuck.

Just been told team, no Jon wilkin, he's out until end of the month.

Very interesting. I've been critical, not of Wilkin himself, but the effectiveness of having a second row played in the manner he is.

Also, massive chance for Flash to show us what he's made of. Dixon too.

I think Rush would rather eat his own intestines than ever rest anyone in an unimportant and (should be) fairly winnable match to give some of the youngsters a game to see what they're made of. You just know that exactly the same 17 is going to turn out week-in week-out no matter what the game or opposition barring injuries. Games like this are made to allow a few struggling senior players to rest aching bodies in the run up to the playoffs and to give 3 or 4 kids a run-out instead.

Away to Wakefield isn't exactly a cakewalk, it never has been for us. They've had some impressive results there this season and against the teams we're in the same class as, Catalans, Hull and Leeds, they've won them all.

Wilkin is our chief kicker, maybe not the worlds greatest, but the best we have. Is this a chance for Gaskell to come back in for his kicking ability? If not, our non exisitent kicking game just got worse.

Gaskell will be on the bench.

Laffranchi is also fit.

Without naming the team, the is one player that is still 50/50 if he's playing, he's on the bench at the moment but got to prove his fitness.

Think only change from Monday will be gaskell in for Wilkin

The could possibly be one other change.

If Gaskell is be picked as our main kicker I see little point in him being on tge bench, the tone of a game can be set very early by a good kicking game

I think we will go with tried and tested for the remainder of the season. There should be plenty of jumbling it up when Brown takes over. If Gaskell is on the bench then at some point they will probably drop Roby to Loose, Lance to Hooker and slip Gaskell into a kicking position.

But alot will depend on how the game is going, he could just be bench warming for 79 mins.
