Team announced for Widnes. No Rhys Hanbury which is a blow for them as he was a danger man last week. Shame Jack Owens has dropped out for Cameron Phelps, he was one of their better players and doesn't deserve to be dropped IMO.

A minutes silence just been held for Harold Swift MBE and Bill Hamilton.

Kick off underway with Jonny Lomax kicking the ball to Widnes.

Kick charged down on the last and recovered by Widnes so another set of six. On the next tackle Saints are penalised for stripping the ball and now press the Saints line.

Pressure relieved as Ben Cross knocks on within Saints 10m area.

After closing Widnes down on the last and getting a play of the ball on the halfway Saints push forward and manage to force the drop out.

Elsewhere, Ben Jones-Bishop gets on the scoresheet to put Leeds 6 - 0 against Catalans.

Lomax finds Magennis on a short ball who goes through, he attempts to reach out and score the try but knocks his hand against the post and knocks on.

Widnes lose the ball attempting to play it and Saints regain possession 40m out.

Nothing comes of out and Widnes play their set out. Saints bring the ball back from the kick and get a penalty as Willie Isa is blown up for interference. A second penalty on the bounce for a high tackle on Laffranchi and Saints can now put pressure on the Widnes line.

Sia Soliola goes in for the try as he gets on the outside of Willie Isa and touches down.

Paul Wellens goes in for Saints second off the back of another penalty. Lomax converts again and makes it 12 - 0.

More penalties and Saints get a 3rd try after a reverse drop off from James Roby.
