| Rotated I think, advantage of 5 props, one gets a week off. Same for the back row, can't play dixon, flannery, flanaghan, wilkin and sia each week, so one week you get a week off.
Add to that Megennis we should have plenty of rotation to stop injury.

| Royce said that everyone would get a run out in the first 3 games and a chance to stake a claim for his first choice 17. On that basis the squad is being rotated and expect more changes for the trip to Craven Park next weekend.

| LMS was looking good last season and one of the most dangerous forwards when fit and run in, in SL. You have a very formidable pack and
arguably the best on paper. Thought La-franki looked promising on friday and Perry finding his game looked strong especially considering
his long layoff.

We're way off the best pack in the league, IMO

It's a shame they couldn't get going in the first half when the going as tough and we needed them to step up.

| Thought Perry had a good game. Made two very good off loads and took the ball forward with heart and drive. I really don't understand how people can slag players off so much when we've only played 2 games in a season. It is ridiculous to be honest.

I'd go as far to say I'm perrys biggest fan at saints and been a big fan of his since way back but if I'm honest I'm a little worried from what I'm seeing. I know it's only two games in and he's been injured but he just don't look like the josh perry I've watched for past 5/6 years.
He's dropping off tackles and he cant get going with ball in hand as he's very very sluggish and slow.
I just hope it's due to being unfit but I've got a feeling injuries of last 18 month and age is catching up with the big man.

| I imagine it is to be honest. He's not had a real length of time here where he has been fully fit. This would hamper every aspect of his time hear, from settling in to his home and surroundings, to gelling with the team to any doubt in his ability.
Look at Sia as a prime example. He had the same issues at the beginning of last season, but he is one of our cornerstones now. If Perry can get through this season with no more injury worries, then he can be fairly judged at the end of it.
Another massive thing to worry about is the lingering shadow of the Big Red Machine. We could have gone out and signed the 2nd best Prop in the world, but he would still be a mere imitation of God himself.

| The problem with comparing sia and perry, sia had age on his side where perry hasn't and perry has run up some big miles in the NRL.
I'll be gutted if we don't see the best of perry as I was over the moon when we got him and if we'd had a fully fit perry last year with jammer we'd have been much better side.

| Sadly I didn't get much chance to see him in the NRL so I have nothing to compare him against. I would say though, regardless of what happens this season, that I would like us to sign a no nonsense sh*thouse of a Prop next season.

| Sorry I didn't have chance to respond earlier. You'll obviously miss JG- an unbelievable player and arguably the best prop
in the world as many coaches have said. But you have some great forwards and great combinations. Perry was an outstanding
prop in the nrl and top draw state of origin prop. Pulatue (can't spell his name), such a big powerful tongan and one player
I think every sl team would have. La franci looked good especially in the second half and paul clough looks a
difficult player to put down. Soliola is playing as centre but hits like a big back row.
I've not even mentioned roby and wilkin.
roby is absolute quality- fantastic player:
front row-perry (fully fit), roby, LMS (fully fit)
Pulutua, wilkin,
La frank
and clough to bring on. there's flannery as well but i'm not a big fan of his.
A great pack. I don't think you've anything to worry about at all.
