So does that leave Wigan with part of North, all of East and all of South?

I hope not, that would seem very unfair. It should start as a 50/50 split and then if either team dont sell out then the others get a chance to buy them.

Correct, Wigan have all of the South, East and half of the North (roughly 8000) and Saints 5000. Fair enough really.

We only have the outer sections of the East and North, and the enitre South.

The stadium holds 13000. There is no mention of Saints getting any tickets in the East or South stands. And it says on the Wigan site tickets are available in South, East or North stands. Im guessing that would mean 8000 tickets for Wigan and 5000 tickets for Saints?

We have all the North! But been told we have 5000 over 3 stands! I presume the extra tickets would go to team who sells out first but the distribution of tickets seems very strange!!!

They dont. According to both sites the North stand will be half Wigan and have Saints. Saints have all of the West stand. Wigan have all of the South and as far as i am aware there is no mention of Saints having any of the East but there are prices for the stand on the Wigan website.

I just read Wigans details and it said inner and outer North just presumed!! Thought it was wired you to not have any of north!!

This is what happens when our weekly round attendances are around the 7,000 mark and our semi attendances have consistently been less than the opposition. IMO we only had 4-4.5k there yesterday.

According to Saints on Twitter, Wigan and Saints fans will have about equal allocations.

A semi final between the game's 2 biggest clubs, in a 13,000 seater stadium should be an easy sell out for both clubs.

I put that to Saints on Twitter after being told the allocations would be about the same but as yet no reply!

Presumably the hospitality lounges will be open, so that'll account for part of the North and East.

If anything it's nowhere near ambitious enough. I mean the fact of the matter is that the semi final venue is SMALLER than both the DW and the new Saints stadium, which is a tad embarrassing.

But I suppose it depended on whether you can arrange a bigger venue at short notice, especially given that venue would invariably be a football stadium. It makes even less business sense given that only a Wigan & St Helens semi would have any chance of filling (or almost filling) a larger venue, and the actual chances of that fixture being drawn, would be quite slim.

Still we can dream - Anfield or CoM stadium would have been nice, but probably a bit unrealistic.
