Bloody ridiculous. I hope Saints make a big thing of this. How many one on one fights between grown men on the rugby pitch have resulted in the two grown men being summoned before the panel? Utter farce.

Right. So out of all the fights that have taken place this season, two pairs have been summoned to the mighty RFL. Pathetic. If they'd been using one guy as a punchbag, I could understand it. Or if one had been on the floor and the other punching his lights out, I could understand it. But the blokes were facing each other and just having a fight. And it wasn't exactly ten rounds in a ring either.

As I always say in these situations, let the disciplinary sort it out, that's their job.

But wasn't Bailey/Brown about Bailey punching Brown rather than a face off? As I remember it, Brown was not in a position to defend himself. Radford was another wrong one, regardless of how we felt about his victim, as he was punching him while on the ground. There are lopsided punchups and there are face offs. Perry and whatsisname were in a man on man, face to face fight, started by the Crusaders guy. I don't think that is the same as Bailey/Brown or the Radford example. To treat it as the same is just stupid. There have been other scraps during matches this season and no-one has ended up in front of the RFL. The RFL is such a joke.

Unless Crusaders cited him, I reckon they've used his reputation from the NRL as evidence rather than the video evidence.

Forgive if I'm wrong but how many fights start with people punching at the same time. And as it is brown started it and Bailey finished it by decking brown and nrl hardman o'donnel.

You asked how many people got brought infront of the panel for fighting? The answer is plenty with plenty having a week off.

Nothing wrong with a bit of biff. It was a nothing scrap and they should just be given a warning about future conduct etc etc.
