Centre does seam to be position were Saints tend to buy in. I think Paul Loughlin was the last Saints lad to make a success of that position.

As yourself have argued many times, positions at junior level are pretty pointless. Once in the first team players find their best position as well you know.
Connelly was a saints produced player and an excellent centre, can you argue with that?

I think the point was he also played a fair bit of fullback for Saints too. He moved to centre did well then we forced him out to Wigan because we had a greedy short sighted board at the time.

Not true. Technically, Soliloa was Talau's replacement. But in reality, given what Simmons said just as the season started, the spot primarily belongs to Wheeler.
