Tweaked his hamstring....looked dangerous in the centres while he was on though.

yes shame he went off he was causing them problems every time he got the ball

3 weeks out with his Hamstring so I've been told

Wheeler show some good touches and excellent hands for Foster's try. Hopefully he can stay fit for a while.

It would be good if he could. He is clearly a talented rugby player and I like seeing him play. If he could just get a good run of matches then I think he would really make a positive impact.

He looked good when he was on and his hands for Foster's try in the 2nd half were slick. I'm looking forward to seeing the replay.

I've little doubt it'll be Wheeler. The question is who will replace him on the bench.

Lets no mess about shifting the whole team about. Wheeler has been good in the centre's, we have him ready to play so play him. You could try foster in the centre's, with kyle on the wing but why upset the spirit of the team, do we want a return to 2 weeks ago???


There is the lad from the under 20's Makinson, but surely wheeler has earned his oppertunity to show his qualities.

He got ten minutes at Salford and introduced himself by dropping the ball from which Salford scored a try! I'm sure that he was just very nervous but he probably needs more time at u20s before he has another go at first team.

Or maybe to be given a decent amount of time in a first team game and not the last few minutes in a game we'd already won and we'd eased off in ! It's not easy to make an impact when the rest of the team have gone off the boil like we had at that point in that game

Unbelievably harsh on the lad. What a silly post. So we should just write off all our youngsters if they make a mistake in the very little game time they have had?

In that case, Lee Gaskell and Jonny Lomax would be nowhere near the first team as both have made their fair share of mistakes so far this season.

If you had ever read a post of mine concerning our young players then you wouldn't have even considered responding in such a silly way.

I have read your posts. My reply was to that post in particular, not to your general beliefs.

Then you should have known that I was being lighthearted because I have yet to write off or be harsh on any of our young players. Quite the opposite: I have promoted them when many others would have preferred journeymen Aussies.

Fair enough, I agree that younger players should be given the chance to prove themselves.

If your post had light hearted sarcasm in it, I'm not good with sarcasm face to face. So I find it nigh on impossible through a computer screen.
