Any chances of this happening as a short term solution if Eastmond's form doesn't pick up? It's been said he's not too happy with things at Hull and might make sense. IMO he should never have left, his heart was with Saints and if nothing else he steps up.

No Chance. We had the best years of Longy at Saints and he and the club have moved on. End Off!

Nope! He was great at his best. But his best is long gone now (scuse the pun). We want to move forward.

What if he got his mohawk back? Would you not take him back then? Or if he went on the face material round St Helens and ended up shatting himself again

Anyway, to serious. Long was a superb player but I have to agree, I wouldn't find him to be a long or short term solution. You can tell age is catching him up a bit at Hull.

He's injured more than Eastmond these days so what would be the benefit?

He will always be a legend for his contribution to Saints in the past.

Saw him outside Jon Wilkin's house today. I think one of Jon's neighbour's was trying to move him on.
