It say's that it is allowing Wellens as long as possible to be fit for the game, i wouldn't risk him. He obviously isn't fit, hence he had to come off injured, which isn't like Wellens.

Who is Mackinson? Is he a serious chance for the first team or another weak Tesco Value biscuit like Wheeler/Lomax etc? Where is the boy Armstrong? Has he left us now?

This game would have been perfect for me to build my campaign to rid Saints of a painfully slow fullback. However with Jammer and Leon also missing it will most likely lead to calls for Wello to return.

Tom Armstrong is on a dual registration with Leigh - so assume he's playing for them this weekend.

Wello hasn't yet been ruled out which is why he's been named in the 19 man squad.
