My optimistic, nay fanciful, conspiracy theory: the club have known for some time who the captain is going to be, but they have been waiting for that individual to finalise his new contract before going public. Tuesday will hence see the announcement of both a new captain and a new contract for Jammer.
Or they'll announce that Jammer's off to the NRL, Eastmond has signed for Bath, the new stadium project has fallen through, we're being wound up by HMRC and Paul Wellens is the new captain. |

What question was that and on what video?
So far as captain is concerned, since Leon Pryce was captain for the second half against Widnes, I wouldn't rule him out if Jammer is on his way to the NRL. |

As for what Paul Wellens said ... it was interesting that he said 'club' rather than 'team'. I believe him when he says he would like to be captain but I also believe him when he says that if he wasn't picked, his commitment to the club wouldn't be affected.
I loved the short interview with Louie. He has a big cheeky grin and the accent is refreshing. |

I guess that Sizzler just wants to see who shows themselves to be a natural leader in the 2 friendlies. Going off his comments on the latest podcast, he obviously has 3 candidates in mind: Wello, Jammer and Leon.
The actual captaincy is fairly irrelevant IMO - whoever gets the armband (do we have captain armbands in RL???), the other 2 will have to be equally responsible for leading the team throughout the year.
