| Just want to say, I among other Wigan fans appreciate the fact that you observed the minute's silence so well, unfortunately a few Hull fans and some people in boxes in the Wigan end ruined it which I was surprised about.
Also, your fans were very gracious in defeat last night, with many approaching a lot of other Wigan fans and shaking hands and congratulating us as we were leaving. It was a really nice touch. Let's hope next year's Grand Final is a repeat of this one!

| The last train Back to Blackpool last night was rocking. Such a laugh with the majority of wigan fans having a laugh with a pocket of us Saints fans.
And if anyone else was on it, we were the ones starting the fleetwood chants lol

| Actually, I thought a few pi££ed up idiots (the type who only go to the finals and drink all day) would tarnish all of us Saints fans. However, as mentioned in multiple threads, Saints fans were impeccable. A credit to the club.
We do have a reputation for being gracious in defeat too (ask Hudds and Hull fans). I would hope that is because, generally, we realise how lucky we are / have been with our success over the last 15 years.

Your own fans expressed concerns about the minute's silence, so it's hardly patronising is it?

| I was surprised that the noise did come from the Wigan end. I am sure that there would have been a character assassination of Saints fans if this Hull fan had been sitting in the Saints end. Sky did a good job of turning down the sound so that the inevitable drunken idiots were not given a voice.

| The problem was you couldnt tell when the mins silence started and finished in the Saints end, seemed to be in silence for 80 mins...Crap support again in a big game, to many spectators and not enough supporters

We support fine, when there is actually something to support. When the team doesn't turn up, fans struggle to support. They're too preoccupied with anxiety.
It was good to hear your voice singing out loud in the silence though. Well done!

Terrible atmosphere all round. Looking at the Wigan end seemed like looking at a photograph there was that little movement or noise.
I think the only time I saw movement was for the disallowed Farrell try. Our end probably looked the same to them.
In addition to that it was as bad a final for the neutral as the CC was.

Sang in the Sam Platts, All the way to the ground and constantly tried to get the boring bstds around us singing.
Would rather try to lift the team rather than wait for them to lift us

Are you having a laugh? The Wigan end was rocking...one of the best atmospheres I've experienced in over 20 years of watching rugby! I suggest you go and take a look/listen at the Sky coverage (if you can stand it! lol) and have a listen at the singing coming from the Wigan end...
