Does anyone know if Emmit is actully going? iv seen on here that people are saying that he is on his way out but if this is true why? he is young and we normally stick to our youth?

Perhaps he's been offered a contract we can't match under the cap?

He deserves to be playing first team - he wouldn't be at Saints unless we had injuries: Jammer/LMS/Perry/TP/Clough would all be ahead of him in the pecking order for prop.

Having played first team at Leigh and now at Saints he might fancy carving out a first team spot somewhere (I've heard Cas?)

That would be a shame if true. In the age of the salary cap he's the ideal sort of bloke you want for 5th choice prop. I think he's still got potential to become a good super league prop at Saints, but if he's got good offers from elsewhere then fair play to him.

Definately signed a 2 year deal at Cas! Seems strange surely if he wanted 1st team rugby you could have sent him on a season long loan!

Got a great deal for two years at Castleford.

Saints couldn't match it and give a guarantee of first team games.

I am gutted as I think he will be a top player going forwards, hopefully the young guys will fill the drobes shoes!

hes still under contract and i dont think clough has ever played prop before, so emmitt be ahead of him in that order

Has he definately signed a deal, at leigh's end of season do i spoke to him and he said Saints weren't renewing his contract, he said he'd had a couple of offers but he wanted to sign for Leigh. Whether he's signed for cas or not I think it's a bit of a weird call for Saints, he's a top class forward, will be real class in a few years, unless they have some better ones coming through?
