| Can't believe there is only just over 2 days before the last game at KR... But what was your favourite moment/game?
I can't say I have enjoyed coming every year to watch Cas get spanked season after season but I think I will always remember the couple of hundred Cas fans doing the conga up and down the away stand. The game was well and truely over as we were losing by about 40, but we managed to entertain ourselves anyway. Go easy on us on Saturday. It might come down to points difference for the play offs .

| Dean Bell squirming on all fours after being smashed by Jarrod McCracken.
Tommy God's amazing pass to Peter Shields in the 19-0 win over Wigan. In the same game The Kings tackle on Mark Smith.
Bobby Goulding running along the line and dropping a pass off for someone to score in SL1.
Wide to West
75-0
41-6 against Wigan, after Wigan had scored first (can't remember the year)
Anytime that Jamie Lyon got the ball. The best player I have seen play for Saints!!!
There are loads more....

Saints v kiwis was a great moment. Dave tanner had a stormer and alan bateman made his debut.
The les quirk try in the last min against hull was one of the best tries I've seen saints score at KR.

| There's so many especially from the 'Millward era'... Would say Wide to West shading 75-0. Sadly I was not at KR for either of those.
From the times that I've been there at the ground I would say either the 19-0 V Wigan in 2002 or one of the drop-goals V Warrington. Special mention for Paul Anderson conversion.

| If I may, and I won't extract the urine and talk about Wigan wins.
Mine was a Saints v Wigan game and I think Saints actually won.
When a player was awarded a testimonial they were allowed a collection at the ground for ONE match, so this game must have been around 1967 or 68. It was Tommy Volls collection v Wigan. At half time all the players came out with buckets and the speccies threw coins (how would that go with h&s now) to the players for Volls collection.
The last player to leave the field after that collection was Billy Boston and the Saints crowd cheered him as if he as one of their own.
Fantastic memory, and one that will stay with me forever.
See, I knew there were some decent Saints fans.

| I'd have to go for a day in '96.
I started supporting in '93, so after we'd beaten Wigan inthe premiership, we went on a miserable run under Eric Hughes were we didn't win at all against them until SL started.
So either the 2nd game in, when andy northey went over to clinch a long awaited win over the old enemy or last game of the season (against wire) when Tommy scored and we knew the league trophy was coming our way and our days of being bridesmaid were really over.

| My first day as a steward, the Andy =#FF0000Naughty Farrell game. I`d been assigned the Eddington end. That was a baptism by fire
The =#FF0000Naughty from Widnes setting off a distress flare in the Eddington stand
The streaker and the look on Jason Hoopers face as he was about to kick a penalty from the touchline(?)
The giant purple ball bouncing about in the pop side that landed near Darren Albert just before kick off. He saw the funny side and threw it back
The International game when the scoreboard stuck and the crowd carried on counting 5... 5... 5...
My last day as a steward, the Warrington game just gone, and the conversation I had with Paul Sculthorpe.
So many, not particularly favourite, but those stand out for me.
=#FF0000*****DO NOT BYPASS THE SWEAR FILTERS YOU'VE BEEN WARNED*****
=#FF0000Thank you,
Mr. Messy

Also very much enjoyed the cup game we won against the goons when Goulding got sent off, and Wide To West obviously.

| Many highlights since 1975. To name a few :
41-6 against Wigan is probably my most memorable Saints victory.
Seeing us finally win the Championship (and so the double) against Warrington after what seemed a very long 20 year wait in 1996
Winning a school cup final playing for St Anselms circa 1981
Winning St Helens cup playing for Blackbrook against Thatto Heath in 1997
Honour of witnessing the Australian Kangaroo invincibles in 1982 & 1986 in their tour games against Saints.

| Oddly the cross-code challenge against Sale sticks in my head, probably due to the banter Neil Holding was giving their fans at half time.
However Wide-to-West my fav moment by a country mile!
Another memory was Gray Viane's (please excuse spilling if its rong) two massive hits against Wigan, can't remember on whom they took place though.

| 41-6 - best game / atmosphere ever. 27th dec 1992 I think (rather than boxing day), when we wore the "Coors" jerseys. We had to win to keep in touch with Wigan at the top of the table. When we went 6-0 down, we thought here we go again... but instead, was one of the most complete performances by a Saints team. Abiding memory was Sonny Nickle racing towards the corner (bungalow/pop) for a brilliant try.
The Wire game in SL96 when we finally won the league.
I also fondly remember the game before - we played Sheffield, and beat them 68-2 I think. A complete master class of attacking rugby, with Prekkie scoring a brilliant counter attack try from a Goulding kick, and Sully scoring a few specials.
The 1997 CC game against the Goons, with Paul Newlove and Chris Joynt pointing at the score board, and going completely mental when Hunte intercepted.
Of more recent times, the game against Leeds in SL last year (the one with the biff) was a brilliant game, and one of the best atmospheres we've had on KR for a good while.
Last one for me - The Hull game in 2005. I had a bit of a bonus from work, so treated me, my Dad, 2 of my cousins, and my Uncle to a "package" in the Alan Prescott suite. Getting from the Suite to the Main stand, we walked out through the old tunnel, onto the pitch (well, the perimeter) just as Saints were finishing their warm up. Brilliant experience. Close game too - Cloughy made his debut, and was one of the players (with Scott Moore) to come into the restaurant afterwards to give an interview. The compare was Tony Barrow (funny bloke, and still massive) - turned out he knew my Dad and Uncle when they were kids in Thatto Heath!

| The "Wide to West" try will go down in Rugby League, Super League & KR Folk law. If ever there's a close game which I'm either at or watching, I'll pipe up "It's wide to West" in hope to re-create a moment like that!

For the younger fans who were not around in this saints era, this is in "The Final Match" programme as one of the greatest games.
The "Coor" jersey caught the fans by suprise because we didn,t know what it was all about. It was more of a suprise how the players played in this kit and the performance seen by all. For Wigoons it was a nightmare, Offiah injured, Sean Edwards spitting his dummy out, Skerret sent off in the 2nd half and the "Wigan Walk" beginning with about 15 mins to go.
George Mann + Sonny Nickle being the "demolition men" in the absence of Kevin Ward.
