I cried at the end. Never have I been so proud to stand and cheer them on. Had they lost at the end I'd have stayed and applauded anyway.

Players like Wellens, Roby (absolutely magnifique) and Jammer we know all about. But how good were the likes of Foster, Ashurst, Emmit and Maggenis? Stunning game all round I thought, given the amount of big players we had missing.

But how on earth are they meant to back that up next week? Mega tough for Potter to raise them again for next week after that effort.

Matty Ashurst was on for about 50 mins and had a great game , was unlucky to give away a late penalty , but his try took some scoring

Potter, like the other three coaches at the top of the league, is capable of lifting us for the big games. This is the first season in Super League when all top four teams are capable of beating each other. There is no clear favourite this year so hopefully we can get two classic showpiece events before Steve Crapbanana leads the national team into RL obscurity.

As I said its all frames of reference, nothing to do with the military either, Saddened must not have very many heroes in his life to state the players were heroes yesterday.

as saints fans we have many heros recently to judge against, just because its been 15 yrs on your side of the lump....

I personally thought Flannery missed a few tackles and looked a little bit off the pace to be honest, although he made some good tackles also. The run out will do him good.

One of the highlights of the game for me was at the end, all our players got together in a circle, when was the last time we did that? Showed great togetherness, and that win obviously meant a lot to everyone. Great effort.
