FFS the only thing that beat us today was injuries,nothing else.

It was the injuries that made the difference but the outside backs showed once again they aren't up to it.

We've lost 2 of the last 3 finals as a direct result of the failure of the backs to deal with kicks. Tonight was shambolic. Wellens was back to his now usual walking round like a headless chicken and Gardner was once more showed up for his inability to deal with balls in the air.

What really, really annoys me about them is that they concede the same try over and over. They just don't get in the right positions to deal with kicks, then once the initial competition for the ball is over they stand still and freeze. Sooooo annoying.

I agree, our dealings with kicks is shocking! Every week we give away tries from kicks.

Everybody in the world knows gardner can't take high kicks, so why don't we try and do something about ?

Put more pressure on the kicker, protect gardner better, if we can do that then we stand better chance.

We can't teach ade to catch so we've got to stop the kicker and give ade more protection.

I stand by what i said on Saturday. How can a team look so dejected when they're on level terms away to the champions ? There was no celebrating after each try (compared to recent weeks), Potter and Purtill looked like statues and Welens had a towel over his head.

It's more injuries sustained during a match, rather than those going into it.

We had no interchanges left in the last ten minutes, that is bound to cost any team.
