You could argue the ball carrying arm didn't touch terrafirma. But then again there were about 13 knock ons leading up to it with the mess on the floor.

Great effort by Graham to chase back, even though he didn't catch him. I don't know if anyone else noticed at the game, but i'm sure that Burrow went to Graham and said 'Good effort mate', or something along those lines. If he did, i thought that was good of him.

I think he patted him on the back.

His half back partner could learn something a thing or two from Burrow. Have always really liked him, seems a top bloke.

I do like the way McGuire chucked the ball at a lad who has just come into the first team, and isnt that big, could you imagine him doing it to someone like Vainikolo a few years back.

That incident was effectively McGuire saying 'Get you hands off me, don't you know who I am?'

He couldn't stand the thought of some rookie getting the better of him. I've never thought of him as being particularly arrogant but his attitude stunk of it on this occasion.

We met Rob Burrow in a pub in Leeds before the Aus v NZ tri nations final at Elland Road a few years back. He had been coaching an amateur side that morning.
