| Doesent seem to be picked up anywhere but surely it was a 'no try'. Paul Wellens put a hand on Burrow when his ball carrying arm was touching the floor. That means the tackle was completed and penalty to Saints.

| Thanks for that Loyal Saint,
I'm in Brisbane, channel 9 are showing the game at Midnight tonight, down to the Jolly Swagman for a few schooners of the amber nectar, back to my sons for supper at 11pm, get the stubbies from the fridge, job done, remote control in hand ready for the action, this will be priceless. I'll have one for you, and as a gesture of goodwill, 1 for Rogues as well. (not all Wiganers are bad, most are in the cemetary) LOL.
Have a good day. John B

| You could argue the ball carrying arm didn't touch terrafirma. But then again there were about 13 knock ons leading up to it with the mess on the floor.
But seeing as though it was never going to decide the game it wasn't worth sending it to the video ref and it's not worth me replying to this thread... Erm. Hang on.

| I thought he knocked on anyway. It was a mess, and should have been checked.
Great effort by Graham to chase back, even though he didn't catch him. I don't know if anyone else noticed at the game, but i'm sure that Burrow went to Graham and said 'Good effort mate', or something along those lines. If he did, i thought that was good of him.

I think he patted him on the back.
His half back partner could learn something a thing or two from Burrow. Have always really liked him, seems a top bloke.

I do like the way McGuire chucked the ball at a lad who has just come into the first team, and isnt that big, could you imagine him doing it to someone like Vainikolo a few years back.

That incident was effectively McGuire saying 'Get you hands off me, don't you know who I am?'
He couldn't stand the thought of some rookie getting the better of him. I've never thought of him as being particularly arrogant but his attitude stunk of it on this occasion.

We met Rob Burrow in a pub in Leeds before the Aus v NZ tri nations final at Elland Road a few years back. He had been coaching an amateur side that morning. He was a top man, spent about half an hour just chatting about RL and showed us a short cut to the ground. He was also in the same hotel as us in Townsville for the 208 World Cup and never refused to have his photograph taken with the with the fans.
My mrs calls him her little man, because she's marginally taller than him.

| What happens on the pitch is totally different from off it! Mcguire is the same as rob away from the pitch one of the nicest and humble blokes you could meet. maggs was frustrated and looked a bit daft, the kid was just been enthusiastic. but he is a player saints fans love to hate. he's a good bloke is danny

| To be fair, i think if it had been disallowed then Graham would have been fuming after making that run!!!
