I've not seen it on the screen and I'm not going near the replay of the game later, but it affected Jammer today that. It just smacked of them thinking we'll give him a crack early on and see if it can knock him off his game. I thought he still worked hard and played well but it took a lot out of him.

My feeling that while Lockys hit was high it was not that bad a one the brunt on the initial contact was on the shoulder but it did slide up and was a definite penalty, but no more.

For me on my first and only look I think Fielden's challenge joining as second man coming over the top caused the damage to Graham not the Locky challenge.

Good hard tackle that you see week in week out. Caught him on the shoulder and then went up, nowhere near as bad as the two Wilkin tackles.

Dont think there was much in any of the challenges to be fair, the mid air facial that Wilkin gave was more embarrassing for him rather than malicious, just for me sums him up as a player......a bit wet.

He wasn't put off. He was wobbling around like a drunk person. He then got another high shot later. Yet he played on. Not put off, just physically damaged.

Fact is though he has taken those and worse in his time, it simply was not his day today.

Mossop was pretty much knocked out after a clash of heads with Gardner and he still put in a fantastic performance.

Nothing wrong with O Loughlins tackle at all. Its just one of those unfortunate ones where the momentum carried on above the shoulder. No malice at all.

In terms of the outcome you mean? Surely you are not suggesting Graham didn't play well? I'll put a million pounds on him being the prop that made the most metres in the game and his balls put a couple of players through for near misses.

Graham was outstanding I thought. He is a freak in the nicest possible way tbh. At one point in the second half he took a tough shoulder to the head and I could swear it knocked him out but somehow he managed to re-gain his senses before he hit the deck.

He's the best prop in the rugby league world at the moment imo. I'm a huge fan of Morley and Peacock but in all honesty he's left those guys behind.

Its a high intensity game, the biggest derby there is, there were some high shots from both sides, thats rugby league, its tough!!!

I,ve seen plenty of derby matches with loads of HHT,s, don,t think Fridays game was all that bad. Graham was targeted but what I like about Graham he dosn,t retaliate with a head high tackle afterwards.

I personally thought Graham was outstanding, Wigan tried everything to keep him quiet but he just kept driving forward. He is the best prop in the world with out a doubt.

Problem for Saints is you rely too much on him and Cunningham.

I think it wa noticable that Wigans best spell was when Cunningham and Graham were off the field.

These kind of things don't put Jammer off, they spur him on. Remember at Knowsley Road two years ago when Feka put in a cowardly cheap shot on Jammer? Jammer got sin binned for his retaliation, whilst Feka got away with a slap on the wrist. 10 minutes later, Jammer returned, and completely owned Feka.

Then, last year, at Headingly when Leeds decided to tried every trick in the book to take Jammer out of the game. Chicken wings, high shots, facials at the PTB. Jammer got angry, turned into the Hulk and was the best player on the pitch by the time the hooter sounded.
