| I remember the last derby at Central Park. Some pubs in wigan commemorated (sp) by putting their drink prices down to stupid amounts. Remember getting smashed at one pub on 50p aftershocks
Doubt the pubs in St helens will follow suit. |

It puts your average at just over 13,000. But with games against Catalans, Quins and a few others with poor away support, it will go back down towards the 10,000 mark. You need to be getting more than 9,000 against the smaller teams.

So far we aren't doing that badly against lesser supported teams around 20,000 saw Wakey and Celtic compared to 17,300 last year. 12,000 against Hull is 1,500 down on last year though that it was on Easter Monday.
Its our summer "lull" that we struggle around July there is a noticeable drop in walk on crowds, this year we have Salford, Quins and Catalans in that period!
Not counting the generally low supported cup fixtures, our remaining home fixtures are against Leeds, Hull Kr, Bradford, Quins, Salford, Huddersfield, Catalans and Cas (in the last ever "league" fixture at KR), we should finish somewhere between 11,300-11,800 but that is still 20-25% lower than i'd like to see us getting. |
