Which is the hardest ground in super league to get away from after the match an which 1 always takes you longer than you expect to get ther/get home?

Catalans - always takes ages to get home from there.

I'm not sure which is the hardest ground because ive allways found it fairly easy to get away but the traffic getting out of manchester for the GF was terrible.

I remember waiting in traffic for 45 minutes after a game at Castleford once! Something about a police escort......

They still use Escorts as police cars in Castleford ? They are shyt cars, no chance of chasing a thief who has just stolen a corsa gxi !

Any ground is bad to get out of, if you park on the ruddy official car park. Hells fire you may be parked as close as poss, but come the end of the game you are goign knowhere, look at Saints, they even announce over the tannoy the fact your not moving until the whopping 7k crowd has moved on.

Wigoon always a diasaster to drive out of, if you park on any of those retail parks around the ground. Did it once and holy smoke, gave up, parked up and went in frankie and bennys for a beer.

Headingley, unreal place to get away from, another place I dont bother to bog off from straight away, get into headingley and get into the yummy mexican restaurant for some quality yarkshire food.

Huddersfield after a semi final and your on a coach, the police hold you back until all the coaches are full, that can take an absolute age, but once fully loaded atleast we get a police escort ( same police car as cass use ) all the way to the M62.

The hardest to get away from must be Wigans ground. No wonder they still have the Wigan walk.

Has to be Cas.

Hope they plan our stadium a bit better.

Huddersfield's isnt much better

I've been to Wigan games that have been televised on Sky with an eight o'clock kick off, come off at the final whistle, and been back at home in Billinge before it's gone off t.v.at 10 p.m

Cas is always difficult, but I park close to the ground there.

Bradford can be difficult but we've found a good spot there, as we have at Huddersfield.

Hudd's, Wigan and Cas.

cas and leeds allways seem to be bad.cas especially if that bloody freight train is going over the level crossing,takes for ever.hudds is a problem when there is a big crowd on but as has been said,it really is a matter of knowing where to park.

headingley is easy to get away from after the game if you know the easy route
i find that because i dont know the best parking spots in both wigan & huddersfield that they are my worst away games,i now take the train to the giants away game as it's easier

I'd say salford, its hard to drive home without wheels

Thats probably the case at all grounds its just a case of trying to find out what that easy route is.

I generally have no problems getting away from Wigan because I know a route to avoid most traffic.

I would say Cas is the most difficult to get away from.

I know a short cut from the Galpharm to the motorway, but usually go there on the train.

Wigan is easy. I go on the train.

Although I live in St Helens I can get home quicker from the Gerry Halliwell than the GPW when my wife picks me up at the top of Dunriding Lane.

Salford is easy. Straight down Weate Lane, turn right and head for the M602.

Leeds can be a problem but once you get about a mile from the ground there are all sorts of routes to the motorway.

I can't comment on Bradford as I park on my friends front 2 minutes walk to/from the ground and have tea and biscuits before I set off home

Like Rogues said, it's knowing where to park at most places.

The first time i left wigan on my own, i ended up going in totally the wrong direction and realised after i noticed buses going past with wigan on the front.

By then, i had to leg it for the train and was bolloxed by the time i arrived.

You need a blackberry with sat nav installed.

You con the driver into going for a drink after the game to let the traffic go
After 2 or maybe 3 pints all of the suckers who are trying to get home have cleared off - normal traffic on the roads and its plain sailing
