Dont know if anybody cares, but a mate's just told me that there's an "Anti-Islamic Extremism" protest in Manchester on Saturday. The last time the people protested there was a bit of trouble apparantly.
Extra police in place just incase.

I agree that a protest is in order, but perhaps we should leave it until after the match?
If we win we can all write letters asking for the style of play to be 'looked at' and if we lose we can raise the anti-Potter protest numbers considerably.

GREATER Manchester Police have contacted Saints to advise fans planning to travel across to Manchester on Saturday for the engage Super League Grand Final that there is a demonstration by the English Defence League planned in the Piccadilly area of the city centre.
There will be a security cordon around the area and a no alcohol policy in force – and that will continue into the evening.
They are advising that fans should avoid the area and head straight to Old Trafford and not return to the City after the game.

Doing a bit of googling it looks like it starting early in piccadilly gardens with the main event starting at 5.
May be ok down deansgate, castlefields area oxford road before the game.
If on train maybe get off at eccles and tram it to the ground.
Going to get their early and play it by ear.
Have to say, mates a copper and he has warned me off the centre especially after the game. Just hope it doesn't spill down to old trafford afterwards.
