I heard it on the radio on the way home from Huddersfield a bloke with a scouse accent came on waxing lyrical about Brian Noble and how Wigan didn't know how good a coach he was..

Phil Kinsella then asked him who he thought the Wigan coach should be if Noble went.

His answer, "I don't care I'm a Saints supporter"

Kinsella "You can't be happy after Fridays performance, did you go"

Not all fans go to all games, and i don't have a proplem with that, i go to all home matches and as many away as poss, but not everyone can either afford it or get the time off work. I don't see this obsession with people turning up, we have one of the most improved attendances in the league and that should be applauded.
Ask anyone in wigan if they support the warriors and 9/10 will say yes, but in a town of 300k population you dont sell out every week, why?

But that's because Rogues is a closet Saints fan. However, coming out would damage his family life and retirement village opportunities in Wigan.

I was told about that after I got back from the match. I thought it was funny.

That was the Cats fans. They had to leave early to catch the last ferry home!

Maybe that's why the scouse caller couldn't go to the game. He'd miss the ferry 'cross the Mersey.

I go to watch S at home to watch entertaining rugby. However I went 3 times this season and each time the games were poor and honestly boring maybe Im just falling out of love with the game but I used to love going regardless of how we were doing. I even turned over when we were on TV one night, it was like watching yawnion....
