Just reading through how the play offs work and the way I see it is come week 3 the top of the league team (prob leeds) can pick the best team of the remaining teams (prob saints) and play them at home. Leaving the final almost pointless!

I still think saints will win the super league but the chances of leeds giving away top stop by losing is very small .... that why I put prob leeds and prob saints ...... nothing to do with confidence!

That was my understanding of it too!

For them to pick us then we would have to lose the first play off game.

And I don't think there is any easy routes to the final this season and no matter which teams get there I am not sure it will be pointless in any way!

Tis easy. Unless Leeds capitulate against the Mighty Salford it'll be a home game in week 1. Then if we win that it's a home game in week 3 (After a week off) for a place in the final. Lose in week 1 and it's an away game in week 2. Lose that and we're out. Win it and we're away in week 3, potentially at Headingly if they chose us.
