Hi David,

We have a press release on the very subject due out next week.

The two winners in Week 1 cannot play each other in Week 3. Therefore Saints would not be able to choose Leeds proving both win in Week 1. The winning team from Week 1 with the highest league ranking can only choose from the winners of week 2.

If Saints were to win in week 1 and Leeds lose, then Saints could decide to pick them.

On current league placings if HKR were to beat Saints and then play each other in Week 3 then HKR would have home advantage.

Finishing top gives you the best chance of playing the qualifying semi at home and hence the best chance of getting to the final.

as if you're going to finish top anyway, you'll be lucky to finish 2nd the way you're going

Makes not a happeth' of difference finishing 1st or 2nd - the hub cap would be the only thing that you get and your choice of opponant.

Finish 1st - win week one - play at home week 3 to the team you pick from the 2 losers left

Finish 2nd - win week one - play at home week 3 to the team you get left with from the 2 losers left (who wont be as fired up as we didnt see them as the weakest team)

the only difference comes in if you lose in week 1 - and that would be the same for both - away tie in week 3
