Following the reports of ugly incidents after yesterdays semi, I have got to say your fans were brilliant after the game today.
A considerable number made the effort to congratulate Giants fans and wish us all the best for the final whilst we were walking back to our cars.

Their a good bunch the Saints fans. I remember the CC semi in 2005 at the Galpharm, they were very gracious in defeat and a large amount of them stood outside the ground after the match to applaud us (FC). That imo is what RL is all about, and my respect for Saints fans went way up after that day.

I hate losing but after the game if the other team has played better and won I accept it and wish them well.

The other teams fans are just the same as us. Want their team to win, no need to have any ill feelings towards them.

Regarding the final I don't really have any preference who wins.

Yes it was a good day all round, the result however wasnt.

nonetheless the atmosphere was excellent.

Moved very much by the South Stand applauding the Giants back to their try-line after their final try.

We knew we'd been out done, and boy do we respect a side that does.

Even though we have been spoiled with success recently most saints fans can remember a much leaner time and what it was like when we started to taste finals and success.

Every fan of every club deserves to taste that. Unfortunately not all of them will but perhaps in the SL at least they will have more opportunity.

In particular Huddersfield have taken a big gamble in the last twelve months.

They have invested in the team and coach.

They invested in growing their support.

I remember when they announced the season ticket offer on sky which met with derision that it wasnt a bigger announcement.

They now have the perfect opportunity to enhance their supporter base even further.

For that and todays performance they should be applauded.

Driving down Winwick Road towards the 62 , there were quite a few wolves fans out and applauding the Giants fans - one even had a banner with Well done giants see you at wembley on it

Walking down Winwick Road, there were also quite a few Wolves fans out and giving abuse to any Saints fans they saw.

That wasn't great to see.

We saw them was nice to see. Walking back to the car the response from most of the Warrington fans was good too general teasing but all in good nature.

Fair play to the Giants. They seem to have made the transition to being a major force, and they well and truly deserved their win. We were second best.

I will certainly be behind them in the final.

i must say that i have never had so many opposition fans shaking my hand, hugging me, patting my back and congratulating me as much as i did yesterday.
A lot of fans could have been bitter towards us due to a 'lesser' team ending their cup run but it was quite the opposite with all the Saints fans i came across being very very generous and gracious and happily admitted their team had been outplayed on the day.

Never had a problem with Wire fans - Warrington is easily the best and most favoured away trip with our fans - always a good craic in the Railway club with them, cracking bunch they are !!

There's enough of that on the Wigan boards to annoy any good fan.

Seriously, I hope that everyone enjoys the day at Wembley on the 29th. Lets hope both sides give it their all, and I'm sure that the winner will truly deserve it.
