Jammer will be finished in a season or two at this rate if we don't bring in 2 nasty props to take the workload off his ever-tiring shoulders. Bryn - as solid and unflappable as he is in defence - offers absolutely nothing going forward. You may as well drop him and play with 16 and save some money.

TP throws his weight around and helps out going forward, but when those 2 are the only Props who can, well it doesn't take a member of Mensa (and I ain't one) to work out that any team who can bring 4 props who can all make yards and take the workload off the backs will pose a threat.

The kids are doing well, they're being blooded and offering their all, and whilst injuries have robbed us of 2 of the props today, we cannot go into next season coasting on Bryn/Jammer/TP and Maurie.

We need two props for next season or it's a write off.

Paul Clough is having his future destroyed by having to do the work the big men should be doing. He made several tackles today that were as weak as anything I've ever seen, through exhaustion and having to play above his weight.

It would be ironic if we couldn't bring in a prop due to the salary cap. However, that's not the case.

Graham will be the next Fielden if you don't get some more go forward. You need it for this season tbh. Clough has worked hard at times this season also.

Frodsham is the key player right now. If he can make the jump to first team and provide more go-forward than Bryn we only need bring in one more (good) prop.

If he can't we have to buy two. Which is a huge ask when you consider the money being thrown around by some SL clubs at the moment.

Don't think Gareth is big enough or good enough from what I've seen up to now.

Why Frodsham? He doesn't look capable of handling Super League, he's too small and not a strong boy at all. Emmit looks more likely but neither have the potential to be any better than Hargreaves.

What a mistake releasing Mason looks now.

Think of all the trophies we could have won if we had kept the greatest 'trainer' in the history of the club.

You'd be amazed at what a lot of 'average' senior pros can do. Look at the Giants today for example. Their fullback is better than ours and all class. But apart from him, Robinson and Crabtree do they have any 'star' players? Or any players who other clubs would love to have? No, they don't. They have got a lot of decent players who are superbly coached and a up and coming backs. It's a great mix.

Our squad is made up of a handful of superb players (All but a couple who are now over the hill) and a load of inexperienced young players. We would be a far more solid and consistent side with a few more senior players, players like Keith Mason or Darrell Griffin or Stephen Wild.

Props take longer to establish themselves than backs. He's not even filled out yet.

Brown has done a brilliant job with what he has, I agree. But to claim that letting Mason go was a mistake considering what we have won without him is silly.

We didn't replace Baloo and that has been our downfall, and we need some serious beef to help Jammer next year

When you have a prop of Grahams blockbusting abilities and then an impact prop(normally when fit) in Fasavalau you have a good base. At the side of them all you really need is a couple of solid workhorses.

The likes of Griffin and Mason would be perfect to complement those 2 as would the 2 at Wigan in Coley and Prescott.

The problem we have is the 2 guys that should just be out 'solid workhorses' are our best props and the 2 high earnes sitting on the bench are stealing a living at the moment.

according to todays rugby paper its a done deal that we have signed Luke Bailey for next season

I'd rather have Mason than Bryn.

We do need to sign 2 prop forwards in the off season though.

2 props that run hard and fast at the line and dont take a backwards step, props that can get nasty.
