He`s due a bumper salary but is accepting less and a longer deal so manly can tie down orford as well, pity would have liked to have seen lyon back over here even if he did rip us to bits.

I've heard on the grapevine that Carmont is going to be that marquee signing for opening the new stadium.

Lyon seems happy with Manly. They went through a lot of crap at the begining of the season but I think they are a close-knit lot and will stick together. Their form is getting better. Des Hasler seems to be one of those coaches who looks after his players.

Exactly. He is an absolute fantastic player, and probably one of if not the best i've seen.

However if he was to come back, anything other than ripping every team to shreds and winning MOS would look like a failure.

how on earth does anybody think that lyon would be a flop? sure he would'nt be the surprise package he was when he first played in s.l but he is a amazingly skillful player
