Sam and Joel Tomkins were superb.
Hansen, Prescott, Flanagan, Mossop and Goulding were very good.

Good result that when you think about the likes of Eastmond,Wheeler,Lomax,Ashurst,Dixon,Frodsham etc,etc, who are either injured or playing for the first team.

So, in a serious answer.

No one let themselves down. Ellis looked quite electric. Had a great buzz around the play the ball. Armstrong was steady, as was Dean.

Arnold continues to grow in stature.

Ashurst and Dixon were both solid. Ashurst made a superb break but lacked support to complete it.

How many minutes did he play? I assume from your statement he was playing as an interchange hooker?

Ellis is the only one of our young players from Saturday that Potter hasn't mentioned in his post match comments on the Saints site. I haven't seen him play myself so I'm interested in how he went, especially given his boo boo on the way to the tryline at Salford, bless.

Appeared to be a good half hour.

His only problem appears to to be his composure. He knocked on a couple of times, which appeared to be coming from a desire to prove himself.

He is nippy. Plied his junior trade at half back.

Like I said, he had a good buzz around the play the ball. Kept the defence guessing, and showed he could have a good turn of pace.

All he needs is time to grow and get confidence.
