Think things need to be kept in perspective but I
was disappointed with Potter's interview on the Sky red
button.

I am all for a composed approach but he
just repeated three or four bland truisms.

There was a lack of visible concern
and recognition of shortcomings.

A real politician on the defensive
type interview. Very poor indeed.

We can't blame potter for tonight. He put out a team that most saints fans would more or less picked the same.

Don't forget it's not potter that won't recruit players, it's saints board that fail to sign players for last 2 years for what ever reason.

Everyone knows the squad has no real depth.

It's ok asking 1 or 2 kids to step in and do a job but when we got to play 4 or 5 together we struggle no matter how good these kids are.

IMO are performances this year a below what we are used to and are home games are now so boring to watch.

I think we are now paying price for letting players go and not replacing them.

I think we can blame him for not picking a goal kicker, since apparently we had two available (Lomax and Ellis). So we can blame him for that. He should have ensured we were covered in that department. Our lack of goalkicker lost us the match. Needlessly, probably.

Maybe he thought we had enough young lads on pitch to risk ellis or lomax at scrumhalf.

Let's be honest. We needed a goal kicker for last 2yrs as long can't kick anymore and doesn't want to kick.

You got it 100% right on your first post. I just knew before KO that it would a) be a close game and b) kicks might decide it.

As they say; its not rocket science.
If your team score 5 tries to four (including 2 very dubious ones for Wakey) and you have the bulk of the territory fewer penalties against you, an equivalent completion rate, more clean breaks, fewer errors etc etc then you should win.

Thought Wello had a mare but kicking duties could not have helped him, but the knock on's were embarassing.
Also thought Gilly showed a reluctance to invole himself fully; can't say I blame him in the way he has been treated.

Serious question(not trolling)- How's Potter gone at Saints overall so far?

From the outside he seems to have done ok but looks to have the mis-fortune of being the coach thats having to deal with the old guard moving on(or getting ready to). That'll take time to get right and maybe we'll continue to see abit of inconsistancy from St Helens for a while.

Injuries don't seem to have done him any favours so far but i'd still back him to be sitting on a treble at the end of the season.

Quite clearly not a racist....but Eastmond and the Jackson 5 do all look alike, just like Leon pryce looks like this YET is quite clearly not WHITE.............






just because a black person bears a resemblence with other black people does not mean that there is anything inherently racisit in making this observation....in fact I would suggest that the suggestion 'are you saying all black people look the same' is indefinately more racist than me comparing eastmond to one of the jackson five!!
