Best Warrington performance I've seen in ages against Saints. The passion, the aggression, the speed of the play the ball (1st half, anyways), it was almost like Saints Wigan used to be.

I wouldn't say miles..... 2 fully fit squads and I think it'd be more of a coin toss, Eastmond was the major difference today, sometimes 1 player can make all the difference.

oldham produces some great players, among them joynt, sculthorpe and morley. Not three bad!

Our youth system needs to catch up as we aint developing enough backs however I have every faith now we have John Bastian incharge of youth development.

Crackin game tonight, although it pains me to say it well done saints, ultimately you made less errors and had more energy and composure. Although i am beginning to think we may never actually beat you again. Anyway another cracking game between us and well played

I am trying to avoid that thought, at least until we know which teams get to Wembley. Then if it is Saints v Wire at least it will only be a few weeks of worrying about it

my butt would be twitching whoever we play, we wouldnt want to get beat by wigan, and we would hate it if wire stopped the hoodoo, then again, we will have to beat a very good team in huddersfield to get there first!!

You were making breaks down the middle last night which other teams don't tend to do against us. That was the major difference last night. Best team on the night won (as they tend to do...). We could argue that the final scoreline didn't reflect the difference in the 2 teams but it hardly matters.

What about Ilestin Harris <sp> he came from Oldham didn't he?
I remember doing security at an Oldham hotel and it was Oldhams end of season bash and he was a club guest, there was only three of us, the other two lads didn't watch rugby, and I said if it kicks off just leave em to it, they'll sort it out

Deja Vu. I've only once seen Saints have a bad game against us. They seem to try 110% harder to make sure they don't lose their record.

To have any chance of beating you, our lot must play error free and dropping the ball on our own 20m line is asking for trouble.

Impressed with the young wire props last night, Coope and Harrison, they stood up and gave some whamo hits and Cooper came close to a try. End of the day the fact wire didnt have their starting frontline out cost them, just run out of steam at the end and we took the game away in that last 10.
