| Watchig him yesterday was like rolling back the years and watching a young KC.
I have every faith when he returns, he will go on to become a great hooker.

| He looked excellent for Huddersfield. The only problem is he came up with some silly errors at important times of the match. I am not sure if he could get away with that at Saints. But on current evidence he is more likely to play for Saints in 2010 than our other loaned players.

| He did look very good, he made a few mistakes, but he is still very young and could be our No9 for a decade easily. He looks like he has really improved his strength as well. Bad hair though

Steady on! I thought he looked okay. No more than okay. Some of his short ball options in the second half were pretty poor.

Better than Mickey Mac?
He is playing really well at the moment and is a much better defender than Moore.

Moore's big problems are with as you say his defence, alot of missed tackles and errors/penalties. Hopefully something good coaching at saints can train out of him. IMO attacking wise he is very good

Hodgson was awful. That pass to Robinson after the break in the first half
Is it me or has he lost all his pace too?

Me too.
Ive been very impressed with Moore this year and would give him a spot in the french test side be he struggled yesterday.
His game was littered with mistakes and he looked a little jaded.
In the long run though he'll be a fine replacment for Cunningham.

| Can I just throw this one in -
After being farmed around so much will he want to come back to Saints?
I understand he has a year and no choice but will he perform and stay after that?
Just playing devils advocate

Its a valid point. Put yourself in his shoes, you would either follow the best deal wherever that may be or take the chance to show Saints you are worthy of the V. At 21 i'd play for the V, he'd have more chance at trophies and an international spot at saints as well

You should know by now that people on here think every young player we have will become a world beater.
Someone even said he thought emmitt was better than bryn after seeing him play once!!!

| IF Kieron retires at the end of the season and Moore takes his place (either as #9 or #14), it will take a year or two for him to settle in and mature. He's not going to walk straight into his boots and perform world class outings week in week out. He's going to make mistakes and show his lack of experience. But, if we stick by him, keep off his back during the bad times and keep the faith, then in 10 years we could be talking of him as a saints legend like KC.
He needs game time and experience playing regularly with a team of world class winners.
I hope he returns and holds down a regularly place. Yet another youth product to make it to the big time.

Moore was good not excellent.
Remember he played the full 80 minutes, and looked pretty knackered towards the end.
The few errors he did make were with short passing, late in the game when tiredness i felt played a part.
He has two skills that KC cannot currently do.
1. He can kick accurately over distance
2. He can throw out long fast passes in either direction. This allows greater attacking options out of dummy half.
Rogues Gallerys comments about Mclorum being better are hilarious. The guy is Wigans third choice hooker.
At every stage of his career MM has been behind Moore.
Here is a statistical comparison between Moore and Mcilorum.

But he will have to do something about the number of missed tackles. He won't be allowed to get away with them at Saints,

Surely it is something that good coaching can reduce. He is still very young and has a lot to learn.

I'd add to that the one or two loose passes and daft penalties that seem to be a weekly feature of his game. There's no reason why he can't iron these out ... it's a matter of maintaining concentration (and may well be connected to fitness).
