As for Saints you'll have far too much for Catalans. They are missing some big players and their form is very patchy.

Saints wound him up with the comments from jammer and KC about the magic weekend being gash. He see's it as disrespect and rants at us in the paper.

Well, based on our performance these last two weeks I can kind of see where he is coming from! I'm not brimming with confidence myself, but then I'm easily discouraged.

i'm trying to see that point in the OP but I'm a-strugglin!

I understood Sadler to mean that he doesn't think we'll be at Wembley and he's not sure we'll be at Old Trafford either but that if we don't make it to either then we should perform better next year at Magic because that will be a Big Game for us, like it was for the sad Pies, because we won't have had any proper big games this season.

I can see his point but I don't agree with him.

He should have a proof reader then. He definately wrote Saints won't be at Wembley this year. You can't mis-interpret what was printed.

A few years ago Martyn Sadler said Bradford would go the whole season unbeaten they then lost the following game. Karl Harrison said the same thing with the same outcome.
Saints will put 50 past Catalans in the Cup and win in Perpignan (not scoring 50) the following week.
They will then be back in form!

You're joking, right? I hope you're joking. If not, fans like you make me nervous, typing stuff like that before a match when we've been dismal for two weeks running.

I just hope we win on Sunday and it would be nice to win the following week too but if we do win, I don't think we will win by much on either occasion. Catalans are a big pack and when they get their act together they can beat the best. And just now we aren't the best!

I think its the way he suggested that we've already lost the game against Catalan which is of course yet to be played?

Maybe he didn't watch the previous game against Leeds and saw the result in the broadsheets who printed the scores incorrectly?

Sadler first couple of years had always seem to have a balanced point of view, this year he seems to gone egoistic and has followed the other writer Lockwood in coming up with some extreme unfounded comments.
