you lot are the dogs well done today i have steadily built up a respect for your fans over the last 2 years but when joe westerman got injured you move into a class thats kept for the best .

What was the diagnosis? Was listening on Radio and it sounded like a hard impact that made him swallow his tongue and have a fit?

Reports that he is up and fine, will probably need one of those mental capacity tests before he takes the feild again

Graham took him out off the ball? Hes too good of a player to need to do stupid things like this and could get cited.

Someone on the Tigers site said something similar. If its true it can't be condoned but will have to reserve judgment based on allegations.

He was taken out. Not sure on the player as it happened quite quickly however reports seem to suggest he's fine but will stay in hospital overnight.

Respect to the Saints fans who all clapped Joe off the field.

Don't normally defend Wigan fan's but that is over-reacting. Barlow was questioning the allegation and allegation is all it is to us who were not there. Until we hear some hard facts or see for ourselves it appears as it is, either an accident or deliberate, because it resulted in a potentially serious injury and therefore put itself as an indecent open to discussion does not mean anyone who questions the means leaves themselves open to such a venomous retort.

Let the facts speak and if proved wrong Barlow is the type of chap to acknowledge this

There will be a video of the incident and we must trust the RFL to act correctly.

The main thing is that the player appears to be o.k.

I know it's the same everwhere but I have to say, that when Joe Westerman was being carried from the field there was a sea of St. Helens fans applauding like their lives depended on it, applauding so the lad couldn't help but hear them, great sight.

I aint on no horse, i only asked a question and actually praised a S player. I think the Wigan/Saints rivallry on here were you cant comment or ask a question regarding something to do with the other side is getting stupid i find it quite pathetic.

It wasnt on report, and play continued for some time before ref stopped game.

I didnt see what happened, and neither did Cas fans near me. There was no big bruha from the Cas fans behind sticks, until later on when it became clear Westerman was seriously hurt. Then it appeared that they had decided there must have been a high shot or late hit, off someone.

It was not nice seeing Westerman appear to have an epileptic seizure on the pitch.

The coaches didnt see anything in it and joe seems to be ok

"Things like that do happen but you do lose a bit of focus. It is distracting and it makes you feel for the opposition.

"It is a bit sad that something like that can happen in a game.

"I hope Joe is all right. Making sure he is okay is the first priority."

Big wraps to the Saints Fans today ,thought you were superb (especially the ovation you gave to Joe when he went off),I also have to give praise to Mr Pryce whilst not been a big fan of his, he has to be commended for the way he was shouting at the ref that something serious was wrong with Joe.

BTW Thought that was one of the best Saints performances seen at Wheldon Road (The Jungle) for many a year
