I hope whoever was responsible for chicken-winging Roby gets punished. I don't know how Roby carried on for so long. He looked in pain after each tackle.
It is such a cowardly tackle that can cause so much damage. I don't care who does the tackle, whether it be a saints player or another teams player, they should be dealt with.

You’re a disgrace to what we call a family game and don’t go saying I’ve said this and wrote that about St Helens because I did them in the right places where kids don’t go and where its permitted. In the stadium its family stuff and your tarnishing that image. If you want to sing we hate scum all night then get yourself off to a pub where such stuff is aloud. |

To be fair, I doubt it is coached and we have just had Maurie banned a game for a similar offence.
As long as the Leeds player(s) are punished the same, then we have consistency and this sort of tackle can be removed from the game. |

there was a bit of 'niggle' and a bit of dirty play from both teams,
however the roby injury didnt come from anything like that, it happened before he even hit the ground, he had his arm around the 2nd tackler who was hit by the third tackler which meant it went behind him and pushed it the wrong way

you can also hear him being accused of 'attacking the eyes' which would be unforgivable frankly and if true should be him banned for the rest of the season, i dont know if it was though as i didnt see it myself
and you see the pushing away smith did 10 times a game, had it not been so soon after the maurie incident i doubt Gilmour would have reacted, he lost his cool a little |

If you remember last season, there was a furor surrounding Clint Newtons chicken wing tackle, he was found guilty of something like, a tackle not in keeping with the spirit of the game, he personally appeared at Red Hall, and told them that the technique had been coached to him in Aus, no ban but £300 fine. |

I’ve been to some away games over the years mate so don’t knock me. Yes I’ve ran into some financial trouble and also the match was on sky. I’ve seen Leeds beaten by Hull Kr away and the worse one was when Warrington totally thrashed us at the HJ.

Bo££ox, I used my sky plus, its as clear as day, If he's cited (as he should be) he's going to cop a ban, I suppose he could get Diskin to defend him, he's usually good at spouting his gob off at lost causes.  |

I'll be honest if bailey gets stuck in it's cheap shot scum and coward etc etc.
When you watch the replay of the tackle gilmour is clearly giving smith a facial and also very close to his eyes which imo is wrong then he reacts when smith pushes him????
WTF!!
It's something i've never seen from gilmour but it wasn't called for and whilst he's punching him wilkin is still holding smith yet you got the penalty!! |
