Would be good to have a "total" section at the bottom, for the columns relevant to that partciualr game (eg. penalties, tackles mis-tackles etc). Just a thought like....

Jon Wilkin - 44 tackles against Salford, must be some sort of record.

Looks like Jammer is miles ahead of anyone in regards to metres made.

Thats not that spectacular these days. I think the record is in the high 60's.

One thing that stands out to me though is the meters made against Celtic. How did you only manage 1 try?

Wilkin is the only Saints player to get into the 40's (and he has done it 3 times)

His best is actually 45 against Hudds, so the 44 against Salford isnt a record obviously!

Stephen Wild is top of the league with 223 tackles (average 44), Wilkin is third with 201 (average 40) - these are the only 2 who average 40 a game. (O'Loughlin is 2nd with 217, but has played 6 games so average is only 36).

So I dont think that saying its "not that spectacular these days" is quite correct.

We had about 5 tries disallowed for one reason or the other....

He's third top overall for tackles this season.

Show how stellar a player Jon Wilkin is, much to the shock of all the stupid s on here. 6 tackles busts, 2 clean breaks, 44 tackles, 2 tries, 2 try assists, 11 marker tackles and 14 carries for more metres than one of our starting prop. That's just his performance against Salford.

He's superb.

Nah, Joynty would rack up that many in the first half of most games. Wilkin's still an apprentice.

I thought that too, the actual error count was 3.

Scully had the record at one point when he was at wire (about 54) which was then broken by Steel Retchless. The really high tackle counts tended to come from a good player being overworked by being in a rubbish team (my theory anyway).

Hence Malcolm Alker's permanent residence at the top of the SL tackling charts.

Iirc joynt got 50+ in a grand final

And Harrison Hansen being top tackler last season.

The Friday Sky game stats are generally in League Express.

Wouldn't be surprised if Wilkin made over 50 tackles on Friday night.
