I'd look at Huddersfield and see if one of their backs would be available. They've got Jared Simpson playing now but also have Grix, Murphy and Connor.

Cuthbertson tweeted he's fine for next week. Sutcliffe will probably miss next week but be ok for St Helens.

Saints have spoke to Brisbane about Eden. I don't think he wants to come home yet tho.

And the rest. A snapped Achilles is a career-killer. Much, much worse than Lomax's injury.

It might be better to just cut our losses and pay the guy off. If not we're faced with the extremely risky situation of starting next season depending on TWO first team regulars who we can't be sure will ever play again to their former standard.

Much prefer we go for an injury free Locke for the rest of the season than bring someone over from the other side of the world who might not be fully committed and may take longer to settle in.
