Saints' first game of the 2012 season is underway with London Broncos kicking off, collected well by Lance Hohaia. However, Saints knock on from the next play and gift the Broncos great early possession.

Scrappy start to the game sees London give the ball straight back to Saints.

Ray French has made 3 mistakes already, bare with me it's hard to figure out what's going on! A penalty has been given to London Broncos after a high tackle on Michael Robertson.

More scrappy play with the ball bobbling around is pounced on by Saints.

James Roby makes a great break running out of the dummy half position and gives the ball to the supporting Jonny Lomax. Lomax out paces the London Broncos wingman Keiron Dixon to score the first try of the match. Foster adds the extras. 5 minutes gone.

Laffranchi gives a penalty away for messing around at the play of the ball, London Broncos now have possession in the Saints half.

London Broncos make a play on the last with a chip. Francis Meli makes a howler of dealing with the chip and Michael Robertson capitalises for a Broncos try. Michael Witt with a good conversion to level it at 6-6.

Roby's kicking game seems good according to the commentry

Lance Hohaia catches a bomb! Should be a comfort to some posters. Saints get a penalty s Broncos a caught offside giving Saints possession on the half way line. Good play between Roby and Hohaia sees Saints deep in the Broncos half. Some good hands out wide sees a 50/50 pass given to Gary Wheeler but he can't take it on and Broncos get the ball back.

So far the combined kicking game of Roby and Gaskell has been very good.

Dixon scores well done lad

London Broncos attempt to run the ball on the last on St Helens 40. An error is made and Saints get a penalty after the ball is kicked away. Andrew Dixon is put through a gap and goes around Luke Dorn from quite far out, very similar to his try against Widnes for those who saw it. Jamie Foster converts from wide out to make it 12-6 to Saints.

Lee Gaskell with a high kick on the last tackle forces a knock on from Luke Dorn. The referee waves it on mysteriously but the Saints defence get there to put Dorn over his own line for a Broncos drop out.

Now the ref makes a blunder. lol

Saints get a penalty in the Broncos half and decide to go for goal after 25 minutes. Will give Saints an 8 point lead if Foster converts.

Did Ray just say he's at Widnes? I hate his commentary, you have absolutely no idea which end of the pitch the ball is at half the time.
